(Zumar) 39 : 58

Or not to say while seeing the punishment: If I had a chance, I would be among the Muhsins.

Muhsins are those who live under the Light of Adhikr—the Best Interpretation of the Lord’s Book. Since the Arabic Quran-reading Fujjar, who have made their food by rejecting Adhikr, as explained in verse 7: 26, are not ready to live as Muhsins, they will wail at the time of their death, saying, “If I had another chance, I would surely become a Muhsin.”
